Interior cleaning

Daily use leaves its mark inside your car: crumbs and sand in the seams, dust on the dashboard, stains from a spilled drink, dog hair on the seat. A regular vacuum reaches the surface, but what has worked its way into the fibres of the seat and carpet does not come out that way.

An interior cleaning goes deeper: seats and carpet are treated with extraction cleaning, the dashboard, door panels and cup holders are degreased thoroughly, and stubborn stains get targeted treatment rather than just a wipe. Whether you are preparing your car for sale or simply want a fresh cabin again, the result is an interior that feels new again.

When is it needed?

  • You bought a used car and want to start with a thoroughly cleaned interior

Frequently asked questions

What does an interior cleaning actually involve?

We treat seats and carpet with extraction cleaning, where cleaning product is worked in and then extracted back out together with the dirt. The dashboard, door panels, cup holders and the seams between the seats are treated separately, and leather seats get a cleaning and conditioning treatment where needed. The result goes well beyond a vacuum.

Can you remove stubborn stains and smells?

Most stains, from coffee to mud, come out with a targeted treatment matched to the material. For a smell that has really worked into the upholstery, such as long-standing smoke or pet odour, we sometimes combine the cleaning with an ozone treatment for the best result.

How long does an interior cleaning take?

Count on half a day, depending on the size of the car and the condition of the interior. Extraction cleaning also needs some drying time, which we build into the planning as standard.

Can I wait while my car is cleaned?

For an interior cleaning it is best to leave your car with us for the day, partly because of the drying time after extraction. You can borrow a bike for free or we agree on a pickup time that suits you.

Does this work on leather seats too?

Yes. Leather needs a different product than fabric: we clean without drying it out and finish with a conditioning treatment, so it stays supple and does not crack.

Is an interior cleaning worth it before selling my car?

Certainly. A buyer judges a car by feel, and a fresh interior weighs at least as heavily as a clean exterior. It is often the difference between hesitating and signing on the spot.
