Return policy

Cornette Automotive sells used vehicles and offers workshop services. Below is a short summary of our return, complaint and warranty policy. The legally binding terms live in the sales terms and service terms this page refers to.

1. Legal warranty on used vehicles

On every used vehicle you receive a minimum of twelve (12) months legal warranty under Belgian consumer law. Hidden defects can be repaired free of charge in our workshop during that period. You submit warranty claims via [email protected] or by phone at 051 25 27 10.

2. Right of withdrawal on distance purchases

If you conclude the purchase fully at a distance without inspecting the vehicle at our showroom first, you have a fourteen (14) day right of withdrawal under article VI.47 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law. If you visited or test-drove the vehicle beforehand, this right does not apply because the purchase is no longer considered a distance sale. A deposit paid via cornette.be is a reservation, not a purchase agreement.

3. No voluntary returns

Once the vehicle is delivered and accepted, the sale is final. Cornette Automotive does not accept returns for change of mind or preference. Complaints about hidden defects fall under the legal warranty (see section 1).

4. Workshop and service

For service work (maintenance, repairs, tyres, ...) our warranty on the work performed and parts supplied applies in line with the service terms. If you have a complaint about the work performed, contact the workshop within eight (8) days after pick-up via [email protected] or 051 25 27 10.
