Can I choose who repairs my damage?
Yes. In Belgium you always choose your own repairer, even if your insurer proposes its own network. If you choose repair via Cornette and Ameel, we handle the whole file with your insurer.
What about the deductible and the assessment?
Your insurer's expert assesses the damage at our site or at Ameel. You only pay your possible deductible according to your policy; the rest is settled directly with the insurer. We explain up front exactly what you pay yourself.
Do I get a replacement car during the repair?
That is possible, often even free of charge through your insurer depending on your policy. If it is not covered, you can reserve a replacement car with us at our fixed day rate.
Is it worth repairing a small scratch?
Often yes. Small paint damage eventually rusts through and lowers the value of your car at resale or trade-in. Ask for a free quote, then you know exactly what it costs and you decide.
How long does a repair take?
A small scratch or dent is often done in a day or two. For accident damage it depends on the assessment and parts delivery; we keep you informed of the planning as soon as it is fixed.
